Kenton
Suresh Kansagra has served as a Brent Councillor since 1998 and has decades of experience in public service. Before entering local government, he worked as an Assistant Tax Collector with Inland Revenue and later helped run his family’s DIY business.
Born and raised in Uganda, he came to the UK in 1971 to pursue further studies. His time serving as a magistrate inspired him to deepen his understanding of the justice system and he went on to study Criminal Justice and Law, qualifying as a Solicitor at the age of 60, a testament to his determination and commitment to lifelong learning.
